Cleaning your Gas Pistol
One of the nice things about gas pistols is that they are very similar to their real steel counterparts, as such, the method for cleaning them and keeping them up to par is also very similar.
Clean the barrel with small pieces of cotton cloth. You can use the cleaning rod that came with the the gun, slip the piece of cotton cloth through the loop on one end, turn the hop up off on your pistol, and then go back and forth down the barrel with the cleaning rod. You want to keep doing this until the cloth is clean after swabbing the barrel. You can use either silicon or alcohol to help clean the barrel, just make sure it's dry when you finish.
Next, silicon oil. You'll want to apply a little to the inside of the slide, and to the trigger mech to make sure it all runs smoothly. Not too much, you don't want it dripping, but just enough to lube the gun a bit. You want to keep that cycling action clean and smooth, and you want the trigger to be able to slide easily.
